| The tiny mountain town of Crested Butte, known as the wildflower capital of Colorado, hosts an annual Wildflower Festival in July. The wildflower bloom in 2003 was the most spectacular in several years due to the copious late winter/early spring snows which irrigated the mountain meadows and valleys. The galleries on this page are from our brief, but wonderful, two-day visit. |
